All donations made to JWGIM are:
- tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law,

What kind of Aircraft and Avionics do we accept?
We accept donations of airplanes; helicopters; jets; certified & experimental ultralights; aircraft kits; and aircraft parts. Avionics of all kinds, nav/com, GPS, due, and all Instruments tools, etc. are welcome. We also accept donations of cars, boats, motorcycles, Campers, RV’s and other types of vehicles.
Why not use this Online Form to tell us about your possible Aircraft, Avionics, Boat | Marine Equipment, or Vehicle donation.
What do we do with Donated Aircraft?
Aircraft are kept mainly to teach basic fundamental of avionics, airframe, and learning how to fly. Some may be flown by the mission if it’s capabilities allow it to serve a specific need. If the aircraft qualifies, it may be sent to the mission field to be used internationally.
After our volunteer hangar staff has performed any needed repairs or fix-up work, aircraft will either be placed into field service or in a some cases, sold to support our mission of reaching and serving those in need of our causes.
How it Works:
When you donate an aircraft, aircraft project, or vehicle of any kind to Journey with Grace International Ministry you will be provided:*
- A contemporaneous donation acknowledgement letter from Journey with Grace International Ministry, and
- An IRS form 8283, to be filed with your taxes, reporting the value of your donation. When the value of a gift is $5,000 or less then only Part A is to be filled out; if the value of a gift is over $5,000 then the donor is responsible for filling out part B.
- We will also supply the donor with a Bill of Sale to sign. This transfers ownership to our ministry.
These documents show the IRS you have donated to a tax exempt organization, which meets the requirements for a deduction in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and will allow you to the fullest IRS allowed tax deduction.
Questions? Please call us at (727) 222-0432.
*Exceptions:
If the donation is an airplane with an N# and if Journey with Grace International Ministry makes material improvements OR significant intervening use of the aircraft (we may do one or the other), the value of the donation is equal to the current fair market value at the time of the donation, and you’ll need an appraisal to determine the market value and your deduction amount. We can provide you with an IRS 8283 form and put you in touch with a qualified appraiser.
If JWGIM does not make improvements or significant intervening use and re-sell a donated vehicle as-received, the deductible value is determined by the sale price received by the ministry. Our ministry will inform you of this price within thirty days of the sale. This is the figure you’ll use to claim your tax deduction. Link to IRS Pamphlet 4303 “Donor’s Guide to Vehicle Donation”.
